Pro-Mark Introduces Two New Marching Models

September 1, 2006

Pro-Mark Corporation, the world’s largest manufacturer dedicated exclusively to the design, production, and distribution of drumsticks, mallets, and percussion accessories announces the addition of two new marching snare drumstick models.

Designed by drum corps legend Dennis DeLucia, the two new models are offered in the original Japanese ShiraKashi White Oak (PWDC20W), as well as premium American Hickory (TXDC20W

Both are 16 1/4” long, and .680″ (17mm) in shaft diameter with a relative short taper to an unusual oval shaped wood tip. The oval shaped tip assures consistent head contact at any angle. What makes these sticks truly unique is the tapered grip area. Creating a flare at the butt end, which is slightly larger than the shaft (.770″ or 19.5mm), results in an exceptionally well-balanced stick with unparalleled comfort when playing either matched or traditional grip. The DC20’s contemporary design is perfectly suited to today’s playing style.

Suggested retail price for the PWDC20W (Oak version) is $16.50 per pair. The TXDC20W (hickory version) lists for $15.25.

Both models are in stock and available for immediate delivery.
