Important Update – 2021 Auditions
Macy’s Great American Marching Band!
MUSIC FESTIVALS and TOURS partners with Macy’s each year in producing this national honor band representing Macy’s in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The MGAMB is recognized as one of the top Honor Marching Bands in the country!
AUDITION PROCESS – Directors, please encourage your top students to audition and have a chance to be a representative of your school community and state. Click here for more information and to download applications.
If accepted, students will join with 250 others from all across the United States to participate in the 2021 Macy’s
Thanksgiving Day Parade, performing in front of 3.5 million parade route spectators and over 50 million on television.

Some sections will have a limited number of positions still open, so please encourage your top students to submit their application and audition as soon as possible..
We have rolling auditions until all sections are full. Not all applications are selected, so we continue to have auditions. The deadlines are the 30th of each month until the end of August with September 15 being the last deadline. Sections availability can close at any time.
